Chosing to make a Scratch game. What i will modify to the current game.

We are designing and creating a game on scratch.
I have tried all of the games possible but I there are only a couple of good games- but most of them are quite hard but I want to try making one of them- I love a challenge.
The games I love are:
  1. Donkey Kong (extremely hard program)
  2. Space invader (quite good for the program level (medium))

Overall Donkey Kong was more fun and had a couple of levels whereas space invader only had one level but I could add more levels if i chose space invader.

Donkey Kong had a couple of levels as i said and we only need 3 levels in the end.

the facts are pointing towards donkey Kong.

Donkey Kong is harder than space invaders thus it would be harder for the player to achieve level 3.

I will modify Donkey Kong so that the back round is a water scene (under water)- connected to who we are in term 1-I did life saving. There is a person swimming and the there will be Jellyfish's in the water and the player has to move the spite (Spite: what scratch call the programed character) around the Jelly fish. Every so often (towards the end of a level) there will be a current that will blow the sprite back to the beginning off the course. This will happen if the player is not moving their sprite - this will add so much difficulty (so that only the best can win) that I will need less levels- Maybe 2 instead of 3. The aim of the game is to get to the end where a life saver will be waiting on the shore to rescue the person (just to make things easier in the programing side of things, we will pretend that the lifesaver is afraid of water, thus it cant swim out to the person, I am sure sharks swimming after someone would make the person that is drowning give enough adrenaline to swim back to shore!!!).
